Ta'Anit Tzedek-Jewish Fast for Gaza will sponsor a conference call this Thursday, March 18, at 1:00 p.m. E.S.T. featuring Sami Addel Shafi, an independent political analyst and writer who lives in Gaza, and Cindy and Craig Corrie. The Corrie's daughter, Rachel, was killed by an Israeli bulldozer in 2003 as she tried to protect a Palestinian home from demolition. They will join the call from Haifa where they are participating in the hearing of their civil suit against the Government of Israel.
This call is the first in a series of monthly calls that will take place on the fast day of Jewish Fast for Gaza on the third Thursday of every month. The calls are part of a new Jewish Fast for Gaza initiative entitled, Resisting the Siege: Conversations with Gazans and are open to anyone who wishes to participate.
